Presenting the strength of my education, Bergin University of Canine studies offered me so many learning opportunities. I got to take part in a Service Dogs in Training program while learning the ins and outs of modern canine science—most importantly learning theory and best practices for teaching dogs how to realize their best selves: with support and guidance!
Training Shelter Dogs CEU
I continued my education through Animal Behavior College, taking a course on using positive reinforcement to train with shelter dogs, specifically. I learned about canine stress and the management of their environment and situation to optimize their wellbeing and learning.
AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
Through my various existing qualifications, I have most recently been approved to evaluate handler-dog teams for the Canine Good Citizen certificate and title through American Kennel Club! Sign up today to get your dog the certificate demonstrating that they are a Good Dog!
Certification for Professional Dog Trainers, Knowledge- Assessed
Obtained April 2022, I am now recognized by the CPDT for understanding how to practice science-backed dog training focusing on the least intrusive, minimally aversive guidelines.
